Most of the time, consumers will neglect product labels. Sure there is a good chance they noticed the product for the first time because of the packaging and the food labels but they will usually just read the front part and will not bother reading at the back unless they are under special condition. Like for example if they are not allowed to eat a certain kind of ingredient because of an illness and so on, then such customer might take the time to read the food labels. There are also those who are used to checking the expiration, then they also ready part of the label.
But is reading the it really important? Are food labels important to start with for that matter? The answer is a big yes and no provider or business man should put his products available to the market without the food label and no consumer should ignore it. Here are some of the best reasons:
